Working on a web expansion that sends it to an app store and is not going to edit immediately, such as a website, can be difficult. Since you can’t immediately deploy updates, you sometimes need to backed the hard -coded date -based logic. Future dates can be difficult if you do not know how to change your local machine history quickly.

To change the current date on your Mac, follow the following from the command line:

# Date Format:  MMDDYYYY
sudo date -I 06142024

This command does not edit time, only the current date. It is also easy to use the same command to reset the current date!
