Disneyland Half Marathon breaks announced after 2026: What Runners need to know
Big news in the moving world-especially for all of you loved Disney lovers! Just after recently making his magical return, the Disneyland Half Marathon Week and 2026 race has been running again, and the running community has a lot to say about it.

What is happening with Disneyland Half Marathon?
The Disneyland Resort has officially announced that all Randzeni races in Disneyland will be stopped after the 2026 Disneyland Half Marathon Week end. Reason? Construction – once again. This time, it is recently linked to the Disneyland Extension project recently approved by the Anim City Council. Disney says the race for the upcoming construction scale will make it impossible to expect and deserve the runners.
Here we know now:
*2026 Disneyland Half Marathon Week and will still be in accordance with planning, January 29 to February 1, 2026
*2025 Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Week & Planning will still
Subsequently, all incidents of Randzeni based in Disneyland are stopping further notice
Why is this controversial?
The announcement is in the sting for many runners, especially since the Disneyland race recently returned after a long break (the last break was also due to construction). Many of the running community were just starting to plan dreams of the coastal challenge from their coast or were beginning to live the magic of passing through the fortress of sleep, and now those plans are in the air again.

Community feedback: Mixed emotions and Race FOMO
Frustrated and frustrated: Runners are understandable. For many people, Randzeni is a bucket list in Disneyland, and with races only back, time feels particularly hard
Rotate for the spots: If you look at this 2026 race (or coast challenge) from the coast, you would like to register ASAP.
Understanding, but still sad: Although most runners need this construction, it is realized and feels a sense of concern and how long it will continue.
Positive spin: Some runners are using it as extra incentive to train it strictly and to make the 2026 event right now. The other already plans to try Virtual Randzeni events to travel to Walt Disney World or keep the magic alive
What does this mean for new, entertainment and back runners
If you are new to running, returning after break, or just wet your feet from race events, what should you know:
Plan your 2026 running calendar: If passing through Disneyland is on your bucket list, the 2026 Half Marathon Week and is still underway – there will be 5K, 10K and half marathon.
Run Disney World: If dates or locations do not work your work, consider running a run Disney Race Week end in Orlando, Florida.
Do not stop the break you: There are still many ways to encourage. In Orlando, Disney World has a weekend of more than one race, which is a lot of entertainment.

Taking a coach: Let’s continue the magic
Look, I got it – this news is a boomer. But if one thing is good in runners, it is complicated. Whether you are chasing a PR, running for fun, or just wanting the selfie of this sweet fort, the Disneyland Half marathon is more than just the medal – it’s about the community, doing some difficult tasks, and a little pixie dust.
Let’s encourage this frustration. Strictly train, show bigger in 2026, and count these fairs. And if you are feeling FOMO, remember: The moving community is always here to make you happy – whether you’re passing through the main street, your local park, or even the block.
Ready for training for your dreams race? Support, training plan, or just a running friend who gets it? I am present for you Let’s make every mail magical – no matter where we go!
